Practice Manager

Receptionists

Reception is normally your first point of contact with the practice.  We have a number of reception staff, all of whom are trained to provide you with a friendly, efficient service. They make your appointment, take requests for the doctors, and give you information about our services. Please speak to them if you have a problem and they will do their best to help.

Practice Nurses

We have a well-equipped treatment room both at Nambour and Woombye, where specially trained nurses are available. Working alongside the doctors they apply dressings, provide wound and ulcer care,  carry out ear-syringing, E.C.G. and Spirometry, give injections and can give health advice and deal with minor injuries.

We also provide a Child Health Clinic every Wednesday morning and a Pap Smear Clinic every Thursday which are run by  specialist nurses.

Job Opportunities

As of 29/01/08 the practice is looking to employ:

1) R.N. 1 pm -7 pm weekdays, Saturdays 8 am-12 noon, holiday and sick relief for Nambour Clinic.

2) R.N. job share at Palmwoods Clinic. 2 days one week and 3 days the next week. Willing to do reception work as well, must be computer literate, good at multi tasking and able to work autonomously.
