Receptionists
Reception
is normally your first point of contact with the practice. We have
a number of reception staff, all of whom are trained to provide you with a
friendly, efficient service. They make your appointment, take requests
for the doctors, and give you information about
our services. Please speak to them if you have a problem and they will
do their best to help.
Practice Nurses
We have well-equipped treatment rooms
at Nambour, Woombye and Palmwoods, where specially trained nurses are available.
Working alongside the doctors they apply
dressings, provide wound and ulcer care, carry out ear-syringing, E.C.G. and Spirometry,
warfarin testing, give
injections and can give health advice and deal with minor injuries.
We also provide a
Child Health Clinic every
Wednesday & Friday mornings.

Nambour Clinic Family Medicine is seeking a
Registered Nurse to join our well established Medical Practice with
a large patient base. We have 3 clinics at Nambour, Woombye and
Palmwoods with 10 GPs and support staff. We offer modern facilities
and use Best Practice software.
This full time permanent role
will require you to manage and work in our busy treatment and
procedure room providing superior patient care and supporting the
GPS. You will be an integral member of our friendly team, leading
and managing a team of 10 nurses across the 3 clinics. Ideally, the
successful applicant will be experienced in General Practice.
You will have:

A current Qld Nursing registration
·
Ability to work in a busy environment
·
Excellent leadership qualities
·
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
·
Experience in implementing infection
control procedures
·
Sterilisation and waste management
knowledge
·
Experience in administering
vaccinations
·
Experience in assisting with procedures
·
Strong computer skills
Your duties will include:

Rostering of nursing staff
·
Stock Management of medical supplies
·
Calibration and maintenance of medical
equipment
