Observing the expanding population of Palmwoods the practice saw the opportunity and the need for providing greater medical services to this part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. After many delays, and still with a few finishing touches to be done, Dr John Scott lead the way with the first session in the new clinic when it opened on Monday September 17th 2007. In the early days the partners of the practice rotated to cover the daily morning sessions but with the arrival of further doctors the clinic was able to open full time from the 13th October 2008.
