Observing the expanding population of Palmwoods the practice saw the opportunity and the need for providing greater medical services to this part of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. After many delays, and still with a few finishing touches to be done, Dr John Scott lead the way with the first session in the new clinic when it opened on Monday September 17th 2007. At present the clinic is staffed by doctors from the Nambour Clinic on a part time basis but it is hoped a full time doctor can be attracted to this role in the near future.
