Woombye
History
When the partners of Nambour Clinic
realised the health needs of the wider community were not being met
they opened a clinic in Woombye in 1978. Initially the practice
opened on a part-time basis, however as the population of Woombye
grew and the demands increased a full-time service was implemented.
Some renovation work in 2005 provided
a second consulting room and better facilities at the clinic which
continues to serves the local population.
